Romans 3:23; For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; in this scripture, the Bible clearly tells us that we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of the Living God. But the question is, where and when did we all sin? The answer is found in the Garden of Eden. In Genesis 2, God created a man and woman and placed them in a beautiful garden He had made called Eden. God provided them with all the things that pertained to life and Godliness. They had a garden full of food and shelter. The Lord God places a tree during the garden called the “Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil” and ask Adam and his companion not to eat of its fruits. Because the fruit of this tree can make the natural man to have the knowledge of what is good and what is bad. God place the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the garden to test the obedience of mankind Genesis 3:3; But of the fruit of the tree, which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. The devil was also present in the garden and the devil deceived Eve the woman with Adam and they did eat of the Fruit of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and ended up disobeying God Genesis 3:1-4; Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: This was the origin of sin by mankind. The sin of disobedience. Adam was created as a corporate man, which means from Adam we will have all the generations of mankind. So, when Adam sinned against God by disobeying Him, the entire human race also sinned against God, because all human race inherited the sinful nature of Adam.

Romans 6:23; For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Sin has its own consequence. As we see in this scripture, He that sin must surely die. The death in this scripture is both physical and spiritual. In terms of spiritual death, the person who has sin separates him/herself from the presence of God. Adam therefore became a corruptible creature hence corrupting all his generations including you and me. This is how come we have the consequence of sin among us today, which includes, sickness, diseases, wickedness, misunderstandings, demonic infestations etc which leads to physical death and eternal separation from God etc. Romans 5:14; Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. Sin was therefore transferred from one generation to the other since we are all from the bloodline of Adam. This made it impossible for anybody born after the order of Adam to escape the sinful nature of Adam Romans 5:12; Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: The seed from a natural man for conception was therefore corrupted. It will take an incorruptible seed to deliver the generations of Adam from its corruptible nature. God loving His creation, decided to offer Himself in the Person of His Son Jesus Christ as a ransomed to pay the price of sin for mankind. Romans 5:19; For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Romans 5:8; But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. God loves us so much that He decided to pay the price of sin which was committed by Adam which runs through the generations of mankind. Since the price of sin is death, God the father would have to die on our behalf. He can only do this when He takes on the human flesh. So, God came into this world in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ through the Virgin Mary without the interference of a man. He had to escape the natural conception of a child which is between a man and a woman, because the seed of a man was corrupted. In doing so, Jesus Christ escaped the corruptible nature of the Adamic race. He therefore took on a righteous nature without sin. Genesis 3:15; And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Because of the righteous nature of our Lord Jesus Christ, He had authority over sin and committed no sin at all. This gave Him the power to rise from the dead.

Romans 10:9-10; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. One may ask, how do we partake in this gift of salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ died on the cross for the entire world so that we can all be reconciled back onto God our Father. John 3:16; For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten son, that who so ever believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.  To partake in this gift of salvation which will enable us to overcome sin and partake in the righteous nature of our Lord Jesus Christ, is just to confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead. It is simple as it is. Our Lord Christ Jesus has done all the work on our behalf.
